With over a decade of experience in the legal field, Attorney Heather L. Pina has had the privilege of working in various areas of law that has shaped her approach to advocacy. Her passion lies in representing and advocating for children, parents, people with disabilities, the youth, and other vulnerable populations. Attorney Pina believes in the power of compassionate legal support and strives to create a positive impact in the lives of those she serves. She is dedicated to ensuring that every client feels heard and empowered throughout their legal journey.In addition to her private practice, Attorney Pina has completed the required training, through the Office of Chief Public Defender, to serve as an Attorney for Minor Children and Guardian Ad Litem in the Family Division of the Connecticut Superior Courts.Attorney Pina also enjoys volunteering as an advocate through a non-profit organization (Lawyers For Children America) for children involved in the child welfare system throughout the state of Connecticut.Moreover, Attorney Pina is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, New London County Bar Association, and the New York Bar Association.
